Kerstin Riedel

Kerstin Riedel

Kerstin Riedel is the founder and head of the agency Riedel PR. Michelin-starred chefs such as Sebastian Frank, trendy restaurateurs like “Cookie” Gindullis, Jesko Klatt, Jonathan Kartenberg and Alexander Freund, as well as food festivals, spirits manufacturers and luxury hotels trust the Berlin woman who tailors PR for each client with her mix of enthusiasm, communication talent and years of experience. She laid the foundation for this profession with her M.A. degree in communication sciences and business administration at the Free University of Berlin. This was followed by “apprenticeship years” at Vattenfall and KölnMesse, during which she not only deepened her knowledge of internal & external PR, but also realised what it can mean to be involved in the arts as a company. Inspired by this, she took a sabbatical to go to the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas. Back in Berlin, she managed the communications of the luxury hotel Grand Hyatt Berlin for over ten years until she was ready to go her own way in 2014. With a team of journalists, photographers and social media experts, she has since been bringing the multifaceted world of food and drink to the attention it deserves.

Sophie Friedemann

Sophie Friedemann is co-responsible for social media at Riedel PR. During her time as an au pair in New York, she discovered her fascination for new food trends. Far from home, it was only natural to share her discoveries on Instagram. She now lives in Berlin as an influencer, focusing on creative exchanges with entrepreneurs and introducing new marketing concepts. Despite her multifaceted commitment, she finds the time to passionately study English and Philosophy at Humboldt University.

Alexa Saba

Alexa Saba works for Riedel PR in the field of influencer relations and social media. The German Canadian with Egyptian roots has a talent for communication: in addition to German and English, she speaks French, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese (Mandarin). Her second passion is the food industry and its cultures. Discovering new dishes and trying out unfamiliar cuisines are part of her everyday life, which she has spent in Berlin since 2015. She made her professional social media debut at Fortuna’s Table & Stella, where she was responsible for their social media channels for a year.

Katrin Schlotterhose

As a performance marketing professional, Katrin Schlotterhose is part of Riedel PR’s social media team. Anyone who tries to pigeonhole the native of Thuringia is usually too late. The former stylist recognises trends long before they become mainstream, and that’s saying something for someone who once fought boredom in her home province by memorising Rilke poems. With her blog “Metropolitan Circus”, she was one of the first to realise how to use the internet for her own topics and unusual perspectives. For ten years, she travelled the world to reconcile luxury brands with everyday life. Today, she works as a photographer for Still Life and products that do good. She has also professionally developed her experience as a blogger and made a name for herself as a content strategist and artistic director of social media.
