Kerstin Riedel

Kerstin Riedel is the founder and head of the agency Riedel PR. Michelin-starred chefs such as Sebastian Frank, trendy restaurateurs like “Cookie” Gindullis, Jesko Klatt, Jonathan Kartenberg and Alexander Freund, as well as food festivals, spirits manufacturers and luxury hotels trust the Berlin woman who tailors PR for each client with her mix of enthusiasm, communication talent and years of experience. She laid the foundation for this profession with her M.A. degree in communication sciences and business administration at the Free University of Berlin. This was followed by “apprenticeship years” at Vattenfall and KölnMesse, during which she not only deepened her knowledge of internal & external PR, but also realised what it can mean to be involved in the arts as a company. Inspired by this, she took a sabbatical to go to the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas. Back in Berlin, she managed the communications of the luxury hotel Grand Hyatt Berlin for over ten years until she was ready to go her own way in 2014. With a team of journalists, photographers and social media experts, she has since been bringing the multifaceted world of food and drink to the attention it deserves.
